Chamarel village is located in
the western part of Mauritius Island between Case Noyale and La
Gaulette which are two small fishing villages. Chamarel became
well known after the discovery of the seven colors earth which
became with time one of the main attractions of Mauritius and of
course a paying attraction. At the seven colors earth you will
see different layers of colored earth from volcanic rocks, it is
a wonder for Mauritius, and it just look unbelievable. Actually
you can see it on the pictures. |
