The black river gorges is located
in the southwest of Mauritius Island, as other attraction there is also the national
park of the black river gorges. Not far from this magnificent
location is found the seven colored earth known as Chamarel.
Chamarel is also a small village which became popular because of
the multi colors earth located in the village. Black River
Gorges forms part of the tours organized for tourists. This is
usually
the west tour , from the Casela Bird Park; the visitors go
down the south in direction of Black River gorges where you have
a magnificent view. Chamarel is a wonder and a real curiosity
for the tourist visiting Mauritius. The national park is
a forested area where visitors can have a walk and have some fresh
