Mauritius Africa

Mauritius Island located in the Indian Ocean and is considered as most accessible place in this area. Although located near Africa, Mauritius is mainly influenced by French and British ties as it has been in the past governed by the French and the British colony.

Mauritius Island is known to be very friendly and having welcoming people. Most of the inhabitants are mainly Indian Mauritian who descends from the slaves who have been imported to work in sugar cane fields at the time of slavery.

Between Mauritius and the African continent you will see Madagascar a big island compared to Mauritius which is a point on the world map.

Even though a large number of Mauritian don’t like to hear that Mauritius is part of the continent of Africa it is the truth. Even making part of the African continent Mauritius has a quite stable economy.

Mauritius is surrounded with blue lagoon and white sandy beaches. So just take a flight to visit and enjoy this beautiful island.
