In Chamarel there is large number
of mango trees. Mango is a fruit which is cultivated in tropical
areas as in Mauritius. It is a plant that needs warm weather.
Mango trees give fruits between December and February but mainly
in the month of December. In Mauritius it is the summer period
when the mangoes are available. Chamarel, the multi colors earth,
is a curiosity and a wonder in Mauritius and is visited by hundred
of visitors everyday. Chamarel is located in the district of
Black River near the Black River Gorges. Mango trees are found
in the warmer areas of Mauritius. |
