Aventure du Sucre, the sugar
museum is located in Beau Plan, which is 300 m from the
Pamplemousses Garden. It is a fantastic exposition in the old
sugar factory of Beau Plan. There are also guides who can make
the visit with the visitors. Discover almost 4 century of
history in the museum. In the Village Boutik find souvenirs,
sugar, and rum. Have a rest and some mauritian food in the
Fangourin Restaurant. The train that was used to transport sugar
around the island, this is the first thing that you see before
you enter the former sugar industry of Beau Plan. |
