Windsurf well known in Le Morne, a beautiful coastal
village in the south west of Mauritius. Windsurfing is
also known as boardsailing. It is a water sport where a
small board, with a single sail, of around 2 to 4 meters
is required to travel over water and powered by the
wind.The surfers can travel over flat water as long as
they have enough wind, but they can also cut into
breaking waves and make fabulous stunts. Surfers enjoy
it when the wind strength is of 3 Beaufort or higher. |
