Discover more than one hundred and fifty birds’ species in the Casela Bird Park in Mauritius Island. The swan is one of the birds you will be able to discover in the Park, swan are mostly large birds and make part of the Anatidae family which includes ducks and geese. Swans are very close relatives to geese. Usually swans are birds that couple for life; they lay between 3 and 8 eggs. Cygnets are the young swans. The swan species are all white in the North hemisphere and those from the south hemisphere are black.
