In Le Saint
Aubin estate there is a large plantation of vanilla. On the
estate there is a colonial house which has been built in 1819
which has been partly converted in a restaurant where is served
typical Mauritian food. The vanilla plantation known as la
maison de la vanilla is a place where you will see how vanilla
plants are planted and also learn about the vanilla orchids
transformation process. Le Saint Aubin is the last step of La
Route du The. The first step is Domaine des Aubineaux, then Bois
Cheri where you can visit the tea factory and the last step Le
Aubin where you can have a nice Mauritian meal.
