When you visit Le Saint Aubin
estate, there is on the estate a magnificent colonial house
which has been partly converted in a restaurant. In the
restaurant you will be able to taste the typical creol cuisine.
In Mauritius the restaurant is known as Le Saint Aubin table
d’hote. There is not only typical Mauritian cuisine but also
European, Chinese or Indian food. On the picture you can see a
Mauritian recipe with fresh fried fish, salade and rice. While
visiting the St Aubin estate have a stop at the restaurant and
take your time to taste the nice Mauritian food, which can
sometimes be quite spicy. |
