The Bois Cheri tea factory is
open to the public and visitors can see how Mauritian tea is
produced. On this specific picture you can see the tea packing.
At this level the tea leaves has been collected prepared in the
way needed, usually dried and crushed and then are packed, here
the tea is packed bulk not in tea bags. Bulk packed is the way
mostly Mauritian like to buy the tea. The color of the Bois
Cheri packing is blue and red. The most Mauritian use to make
tea a little different, they will boil water, depending of the
water quantity they will put some spoon of black crushed tea
leaves and let it infuse, then add milk and sugar. |
