Le Saint Aubin is a property
forming part of the Tea Route. There is a magnificent colonial
house in the property of St Aubin which has been constructed in
1819. The house has been restored of course after so many years.
There is also now a restaurant in the colonial house, where
typical Mauritian cuisine can be eaten. At St Aubin the visitors
can also taste the agricultural rum and sugar. The Tea Route
visit starts with Domaine des Aubineaux, then Bois Cheri factory
and at last Saint Aubin. During the Tea Route the visitors will
learn a lot of tea, sugar, vanilla and rum. |
