There is still in Mauritius
Island some colonial houses that can be visited as Le Saint
Aubin property which is part of the Tea Route. At Le Saint Aubin
property there is a colonial house which has been constructed
during the year 1819. Riviere des Anguilles is located in the
south of Mauritius in Savanne district and has for capital
Souillac. There is a population of over sixty thousand living in
Savanne. Mauritius Island is divided into nine districts.
Another main attraction in Savanne district is the Vanilla
Crocodile Parc. In the past the parc was a vanilla plantation
which became in 1984 the crocodile parc. St Aubin is situated
some kilometres away from Riviere des Anguilles.
