This picture has been in one of
the small villages of Mauritius Island. It is a picture of a
small Indian temple with a red dome. At the back of the temple
you can see a house painted in lila. Small temples that are
found everywhere in Mauritius as the island is more populated
with Indians. The reason is that in the time of slavery a lot of
Indians from India were brought to the island to work as slave
in the sugar cane fields for the white as it was called in the
past. Lot of mosques and churches are also found on the small.
Actually quite a lot for a small island. |
