This is a
picture of a quincaillerie located in Curepipe. A quincaillerie
is a sort of store where you get a lot of products needed for a
house construction. Curepipe is a quite busy city not as Port
Louis, the capital of Mauritius. Curepipe is also well known for
shopping. Lot of the tourist coming to Mauritius like to go to
the town of Curepipe for shopping where is found the market
place and lot of duty free shops. Other famous cities for
shopping in Mauritius are Port Louis, Quatre Bornes and Rose
Hill. Mauritius is an island located in the Indian Ocean
surrounded with a blue turquoise lagoon and white sandy beaches.
Mauritius is divided into nine districts which are Pamplemousses,
Plaines Wilhems, Black River, Port Louis, Flacq, Savanne, Grand
Port, Moka and Riviere du Rempart. |
