The Mauritius Eagle is an
insurance company located in the capital city, Port Louis, as a
lot of other insurance companies. The headquarters’ office is
located in the IBL House Caudan Port Louis; the insurance
company has a branch in Flacq in Winners Complex at La Source
Commercial Centre. The Mauritian Eagle Insurance is one of the
leading insurance companies in Mauritius with a nearly turnover
of almost nine hundred thirteen million rupees in the year 2006.
The company started in 1974; it started first as a join venture
between Ireland Blyth and South African Eagle Insurance. In 1993
Mauritian Eagle was list in the Stock Exchange of Mauritius. The
Mauritian Eagle Insurances offers services for commercial and
domestic markets; the company also offers pension plans and life
insurance. Since 2001, the company also provide its clients in
leasing services through its subsidiary The Mauritian Eagle
Leasing Co. Ltd.
