On the picture above you can see
a pirate boat which is only seen on the east of the island at
the coast of Trou d’eau Douce. There is nowadays five pirate
boats at Trou d’eau Douce. They organise excursion to Ile aux
Cerfs including snorkelling, music on board and barbecue. You
can phone and reserve, they can carry about thirty persons.
There is a small boat taking you from the coast to the pirate
boat. On the boat when you get on you are served a cocktail.
Then the pirate brings the visitors to the waterfall, but the
pirate boat itself goes directly to the waterfall because the
water is shallow, so there is a smaller boat taking the visitors
to the waterfall. While the visitors are away from the pirate
the crew prepares the barbecue.
