The above picture has been in the
Pamplemousses garden. On the trees you can observe a gecko. They
are harmless the geckos of Mauritius, there is no animal that
are dangerous in the island. So there is no need to be afraid to
fly to Mauritius Island. The geckos or lizards can be found in
every garden, these you see on the picture live mostly outside
in trees, there smaller lizards which are found in every houses
and mainly in tropical islands because of the warm and humid
climate. The lizards are also all harmless. Beside the geckos of
Pamplempousses, the garden is a magnificent place to visit and
is one of the most visited gardens of the island. |
