The different excursions
organised by the different tours have always for the north tour
the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden in. Even the Mauritian
schools organise excursion to the Paplemousses Garden, it is a
part of the history of Mauritius Island. All important people
visiting the island as Prime Misters from the different
countries go to the garden and plant a tree in the garden. The
garden has very old trees and each plant, flowers and trees has
their name on it. Each avenue has a name too. There is a
magnificent huge pond of water lilies. Pamplemousses Garden has
been also printed on different stamps of the island. |
