In Saint Aubin, which is the
third step of the Tea Route there is orchids plantation. Orchids
are very sensible plants and need special care depending on
their species. There are some orchid plants which are endemic to
Mauritius and in Le Saint Aubin you see these fabulous plants.
In the Mascarenes and Madagascar, there is around forty species
of orchids known. There is in Mauritius different type of
vegetation that can be observed, mainly on the small islands of
Mauritius, some of them are natural reserve where are found
plants endemic to these small islets. |
