Mauritius Island is an island where you have
great holidays and relax but also during the various visits
through the island learn about the country, its culture and
people. Medine sugar estate forms part of the visits which is
organised by the different tour operators of the island. As
other sugar estates of Mauritius Medine is open to visit and its
distillery too where rum is produced. On the picture you can see
visitors in the sugar factory of Medine. In the distillery you
have a taste of the Mauritian rum and buy some souvenirs.
