Mauritius Island is a magnificent
island in the Indian Ocean near Madagascar. The island is very
small, it is as bibg as the town Hamburg in Germany. The island
is visited by a lot of tourists every year. The economy lives
mainly from sugar production, tourism and textile. Textile is
known to be very cheap on Mauritius Island. The small village,
Medine is located near Bambous village in the Black River
district. Both Medine and Bambous village are near the touristic
fishing village Flic en Flac. When you talk about Medine
everybody knows thinks first of the sugar estate and rum
distillery which can be visited by tourists.
