Maha Shivaratri is the most important
Hindu festival celebrated over 3 days during the month
of February/March. Most of the Hindus of the island will
make a pilgrimage in honour of the Lord Shiva to the
sacred lake of Grand Bassin, the Ganga Talao, where they
give food offers to the Lord Shiva. |
