In Le Saint
Aubin estate, there is a huge garden where there are vanilla
plantation, anthurium plantation and lemon trees. You can see
the tree on the picture which green lemon. Le Saint Aubin forms
part of the Tea Route and it is the last step after Bois Cheri.
The Tea Route is divided in three steps where you will learn all
about colonial houses, rum production, tea production, vanilla
and anthurium. Tea in Mauritius is very important, Mauritian
never forget teatime. The Tea Route is a great experience for
youngsters and elderly to learn about Mauritius history and
culture. And of course taste Mauritian tea and rum. |
