Latans are these big trees you
see on the picture. These trees are found in the Pamplemousses
botanical gardens in Mauritius Island. In this avenue you can
see on both sides aligned these huge latans trees. Actually the
latans trees look a bit similar as the palm trees. The entrance
of the botanical receives its visitors with a huge open white
door. At the entrance there is a large number of guides waiting
to do their job. Of course it is against payment that they guide
the visitors through the garden, it is not a must to have a
guide. The garden is huge and each avenue has been given a name.
The botanical garden forms parts of the main attractions of
Mauritius Island. It is a relaxing area to spend a nice day with
family and friends. |
