Le Morne beach attracts the kite surfers; this side of
Mauritius Island is quite windy at almost any time of
the year. Kite surfing is also known as kite boarding.
It is a traction kite which is used to pull a surfboard
on water, also a snowboard when it is used on snow and a
wheeled board when it is used on land. Actually Le Morne
is the best place in Mauritius for Kite surfing. |
