crested guinea fowl, the picture has been taken in the Casela
Bird in Mauritius Island. The island is located in the Indian
Ocean near Madagascar and South Africa. The island is surrounded
of white sandy beaches and blue turquoise lagoon it is known as
the paradise of the Indian Ocean. The guinea fowl seen on the
picture is also sometimes called guinea hen. The guinea fowl is
part of the turkey and pheasant family. Actually the birds look
alike to the turkey. It is known as a game bird and is also
often farmed for this purpose. |
