There is a large variety of
parrots in the world, around three hundred and fifty species.
The one you see on the picture is an Indonesian parrot. There
are different parrot species seen in the Casela Bird Park of
Black River. The true parrots are known as Psittacidae and
cockatoo are known as Cacatuidae which are also sometimes called
parrot. They mostly feed themselves on nuts, seeds, fruits some
species also eat insects. There a large variety of parrot which
are kept as pets some for their beauty. There are parrots
species which are very colourful you can also see them in the
bird park. |
