The harbour of Mauritius is
located in the capital city, Port Louis and is known as Port
Louis Harbour. The Caudan Waterfront located near the harbour
gives a magnificent view on the harbour. Part of the waterfront
has been filled which means the island is a bit bigger. On the
picture you can see a boat from the harbour coast guard who are
there to have an eye on what is happening in the surroundings of
the harbour, if there is any problem the coast guards are there
to help. There has been a lot of improvement since the last
years in the harbour of Port Louis. The Caudan Waterfront
receives a large number of visitors everyday, the waterfront is
full of duty shops which attracts large number of tourists,
loads of restaurants, there a Casino too fro those who would
like to win some rupees. |
