House, 37 Sir William Newton Street. The Sir William Newton
Street is one of the main streets in the capital city of
Mauritius where are found a lot of shopping malls. The Happy
World House distributes a large number of products as
electronics and food over the island. The headquarters of the
Mauritius Commercial Bank is also located at Sir William Newton
Street. The MCB is the oldest bank of Mauritius; it has been
founded since 1838. The Mauritius Commercial is among The
Banker’s list of “the Top 1000 World Banks 2006” and it is the
only Mauritian bank among the list. The MCB has over two
thousand employees. |
