Mauritius is known as the
shopping paradise. Grand Bay is well known for shopping, there
is a large number of duty free shops as in may other cities of
Mauritius Island. All along the beach of Grand Bay you have
shops selling souvenirs, handcrafts, and clothing as t-shirts.
As Grand Bay was one of the first tourist boom village it has
developed very quickly. There are shopping centres, Grand Bay
lives a lot of tourism. There is a large number of excursions
organised from Grand Bay and there is also a large number of
water sports available. There is also something very interesting
in the northern part the beach receives less wind. |
