There are a lot of small islets
surrounding Mauritius, there are some which have hotels or
bungalows on it. The islands are quite small when imagining that
Mauritius is a point on the world map. In the north of Mauritius
when going to Grand Bay, Cap Malheureux there are small islets
to be seen. The view on the north coast is magnificent. The
islets near the northern coast are, Ile Ronde, Coin de Mire,
Flat Island, Ile aux Serpents, Ilot Gabriel. Ilot is actually
the name given in French to a very small island. Ile aux Serpent
known in English as Snake Island is not an island where snakes
can be found, no worries. There are no dangerous reptiles on
Mauritius Island. |
