Grand Bay is the tourist centre
of Mauritius; actually it was some years ago a tourist boom
for the small village. There is still a lot of tourist in this
part of the island but also the other beaches and villages as Flic en
Flac are very popular too. Grand Bay beach is very nice to have
a sun bath. There are also a lot of boat tours organized from
Grand Bay beach which unique to the north, these tours are not
available from other parts of the island. Something very
interesting with the Grand Bay beach is that it is often
protected from wind and waves. Grand Bay is also great for
shopping. |
