Mauritius at Grand Bassin. This is an indian god at the top of a
temple in Grand Bassin. As you can see on the picture the indian
god has 4 hands. The indian people pray and believe in different
gods and often animals or human body with animals heads. In
Mauritius the indian Mauritian go to Grand Bassin to make offers
and also during Maha Shivaratri. During the maha shivaratri
period they walk from every side of the island to the sacred
lake to pray Shiva, an indian god. |
