Medine is a village located in
the west side of Mauritius Island. Medine is mainly known for
its sugar estate known as Medine Sugar Estate. Medine is one of
the main rum distilleries of Mauritius Island. About you can see
the production of fine brown sugar. In Mauritius most Mauritian
drinks brown sugar also known as red sugar. But the sugar is
also whitened because it is thought that the red sugar is for
the Mauritian consumers and white sugar for mainly tourists. The
red sugar is also less expensive than the white one. But the
tourists adore the fine brown sugar too. And it is often said
that the red sugar is more sweet that the white one. It is just
