There is in the world around
three hundred fifty species in the world. Most parrot species
are found in tropical and warm regions. The picture above has
been taken in the bird park located in the west part of
Mauritius Island and is called the Casela Bird Park. The park is
called bird park because it was mainly a park for birds and has
over one hundred birds species coming from different countries
of the world and some of them are endemic to Mauritius. Parrots
are bird species which are often kept as household pets mostly
for their beauty. |
