The dry tea leaves are usually
picked up green, then are left to dry and are crushed to make
black or red tea. The tea that Mauritian use to drink is usually
black tea leaves which is crushed and often flavoured with
vanilla and then packed in tea bags or bigger boxes. Mauritius
like to buy mainly the crushed tea leaves and boil it in water,
with the time they are getting used to the tea bags because it
is easier. Most of the Mauritian drinks tea with milk. Something
common in the island is the tea time in the afternoon which is
typical British. |
