The crown squirrelfish, sargocentron
diadema known as the scientific name, from the
holocentridae family is a tropical fish. You will be
able to discover it in the aquarium of Mauritius and in
the Mauritian sea. The crown squirrelfish is found in
lagoon up to 60 m depths. It is a ruby red with white
silvery stripes. It can attain the length of 15 cm. In
aquarium it is better to keep them alone. In Mauritius
this fish is known as “lion parasol”.
