This is a
picture of the Trou aux Cerfs crater which is located in
Curepipe which is in the district of Plaines Wilhems. The Trou
aux Cerfs volcano is one of the main attraction of Curepipe
city. Trou aux Cerfs has been formed by a volcanic activity
million years ago. The volcano is now an extinct one. From the
top of Trou aux Cerfs, visitors will have a magnificent view of
part of the Mauritius. Visitors will also discover Rempart
Mount, Mount St Pierre, Pieter Both, Le Pouce and Les Trois
Mamelles. Lot of tourists like to take pictures from the top as
there is a magnificent view. There is in the town of Curepipe a
population of over eighty thousand. The Mauritius Broadcasting
Corporation known as MBC is also located in Curepipe exactly in
Forest Side. The Royal College is also located in the city of
Curepipe and makes part of one of the oldest schools in
Mauritius Island. Curepipe is also well known for shopping. |
