This picture has been taken from the extinct volcano Trou aux Cerfs located on the central plateau in Curepipe. You can see the colline candos located in Candos. In Candos is also the public hospital known as candos hospital. The hospital is located near La Louise, the market of Quatre Bornes. In the surrounding there are also a lot of shops and shopping centres. From the Trou aux Cerfs you will have a fascinating view of the west coast of Mauritius, Flic en Flac, Albion and Tamarin. It is a place where a lot of Mauritian people like to go make their jogging early morning or in the afternoon. Trou aux Cerfs also attracts a large number of tourists. At the top of the extinct volcano is cooler as it located on the central plateau. Curepipe is also well known fro shopping. There is in the town of Curepipe a difference of temperature with coastal areas; it has a more temperate climate and therefore more rainfall.
