Here you see a coconut palm tree.
A little bit everywhere on Mauritius you can see a lot coconut
palms. The coconut is a fruit that you mostly see sold on the
beaches of Mauritius Island. It cost usually around Rs30. The
seller will cut it and put a straw in the coconut and you can
drink the water from it. There is also the coconut cream inside
that can be eaten. So when you are on the beaches just give it a
try. Some of the coconuts are yellow and some are green of
colour. If you never drink the coconut water then you should try
it you will probably like it.
