In Cap Malheureux as in other
cities and villages of Mauritius there are shops everywhere. In
Mauritius the Mauritian calls it “la boutik” usually. These
small shops are places where you get all important things for
the house as milk, oil, rice, flour just the basic things. There
are bigger self service supermarkets too. Since the last years
there have been more and more supermarkets. Cap Malheureux is
popular for its church with the red roof. The small village has
a magnificent view from the beach; the visitors can see the
islands surrounding the northern coast. Cap Malheureux is the
