Cap Malheureux is located in the
north of Mauritius Island between Grand Bay and Pereybere. Grand
Bay is the tourist area of the north; there was a few years a go
a tourist boom in the area. This tourist boom made the village
develop very quickly. There has been more and more hotels and
bungalow which has been constructed to receive the large number
of tourist arriving in Grand Bay. Cap Malheureux is well known
for the red roofed church situated near the beach. Grand Bay is
one of the best beaches of island mainly because there is less
wind and waves in this part. |
