The workers in the tea factory of
Bois Cheri have each their own job. Thos who pick up the leaves
in the plantation are mainly the women. They will pick the
leaves eventually early morning and pick the right leaves which
are ready for the factory. These women have a big bucket on
their back in which they put the leaves. Then the leaves will go
to the factory where they will be washed and cleaned and
separated in the different way it will be prepared. Mauritian
special drink black or vanilla flavoured tea leaved which are
dried and crushed. Some leaves are kept almost fresh for other
tea type as green tea. |
