Bois Cheri is a village and a tea
estate located of course in Bois Cheri. There is a factory
producing tea for mainly the local market as Mauritian drink
quite a lot of tea. A part of the production is exported to
other countries of the world. For tourists, there are tours
organised around the island where Bois Cheri factory is
included. Bois Cheri tea factory is mainly in the western tours
included. Usually the tour operators start the tour by Black
River Gorges and the waterfall in the surrounding, Chamarel,
Grand Bassin and Bois Cheri. The factory is open to tourists
where they can visit the factory and see how Mauritian tea is
